Brain Training - IQ & EQ with People Impact

Conducted by professional trainers from People Impact, this well received programme focuses on both IQ and EQ training, the latter of which we deem critical to success in life. We understand that children meet their developmental milestones at different paces. The Brain Training programme is catered to meet each child’s individual needs and learning patterns, so that he or she can reach his or her maximum potential. Together with People Impact, we conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress. These assessments provide constructive feedback on the child's strengths and development areas, allowing us to mould a child's development point into a positive attribute.

Music & Movement with KinderMusik

Children thrive on music. It’s one of the best vehicles for learning in early childhood development. Partnering with Kindermusik, the leading provider in early childhood music curriculum, we take musical learning to the next level with the aim of developing our children holistically in a fun and enjoyable manner.

Phonics with Letterland

Letterland is a unique and systematic phonics programme that has been helping children learn to read and write for over 40 years. Letterland is so successful because it links phonic information directly to a child's long-term memory. With its colourful and friendly characters, learning to read, write and spell becomes a fun process even for kids as young as 1 year old.

Outdoor Learning Journeys

Field trips give children educational experiences away from their regular school environment. Such outdoor learning journeys can awaken their desire to try new things and pursue previously unconsidered dreams. We conduct learning journeys at least once a quarter, with the objective of introducing real-life applications of the lessons that our children learn in school.

Primary School Visits (K2)

Visits to primary schools are aimed at easing the transition process from K2 to Primary 1. As part of this transition, we introduce to our K2 children the life of a Primary 1 student through 'Show-and-Tell' sessions where each child shares his or her insights, including any fears or concerns which their teachers will then seek to address individually.

Final Year Project (K2)

Project work allows children to focus on a topic and encourages them to be deep thinkers and problem solvers. We let our K2 children discuss, negotiate and agree on a topic for their final year project. During the process, our teachers observe how each child behaves or contributes to the project and provides the necessary guidance to maximise his or her learning opportunity. Through this process, our children learn how to plan effectively, work as part of a group, resolve conflicts and work towards a common goal, all of which are essential skills for their future endeavours in life.

Overnight Camping (K2)

Overnight camping provides a life experience for our K2 children that cannot be replicated in the classrooms. The children begin their preparations up to three months prior to the event. Together with their teachers, they form workgroups to discuss, propose, negotiate and put together the timetable, duty roster, packing list, menu, list of activities, and even safety rules for the camp.

Chinese Language Immersion Programme

Our little ones take their first steps into the world of Chinese through a multi-dimensional approach, comprising of a reading programme, the learning of basic strokes, Chinese characters and word skills, as well as creative expressions through songs, poems, rhymes, music, movement and art. Children are first introduced to elementary concepts such as shapes and colours, before progressing to more advanced concepts such as Nature and Earth through a thematic approach closely aligned with our English Programme.

Mathematics and Numeracy Programme

Our little ones begin their first steps into foundational Mathematics through games and play-based activities. Once the basics of numeracy are established, we progressively introduce more complex mathematical concepts through an inquiry approach involving active participation, problem solving and carefully selected learning materials.
